Purchasing classics there

wiring GL1100-13AOf course it is nice if a fellow villager highly values your knowledge.

But if you have been around 20 + years in the area on old motorcycles you apparently get a reputation without having to do anything.

A fellow villager came to ask if I wanted to help him. He had had a major short circuit and part of his wiring had turned into charcoal.

He had already bought another wire harness and hardly dared to ask ...

schema_M72With my new, self-made cable harness for my KMZ K750 in mind, I was curious to see how they now do things like that on modern engines. On a Honda Goldwing, they do that in a completely different way. What a lot of electric ropes and things are there!

And I came to 1 conclusion: The tinkering and maintenance of the motorcycles from about now will be quite a challenge for the enthusiasts from the future ...

I only said 'no' to my fellow villager's request for help ...

The villager had asked the local motorcycle dealer what it would cost to install his cable harness purchased on the Internet. Meanwhile, the Honda has gone to the export trade.

Including the cable harness.

A pity
