Motorcycle tires under a car

Motorcycle tires under a car? Conversely, we know the approach. But reader Rob Gunsing sees it differently. He is making a thirties replica. Something with a huge Chevrolet six in line and a fragile Peugeot chassis.

Because it must all remain affordable, he thought that cars from the early thirties actually drove what is now 'buddy motorcycle tires'. And they are much cheaper to score than Real Vintage Tires. We ourselves were thinking of the 'square' Heidenau sidecar tires.

But are there readers who have also thought about this?
