In 1969, three collectors Pierre Dinier, Yvon Quilès and Jean-Bernard Sarthe conceived the idea of combining their collections and establishing an automobile museum. In March 1970 she opened the doors of the Musée Automobile in Lorraine, France.
A beautiful location where in one tastefully decorated hall one could enjoy fifty classics, in the other one hundred. A major renovation followed in 1975 and a second one in 1977. Since then it has been a Mecca for the classic enthusiast with a huge library. Moreover, from time to time a high-class classic and parts exhibition is organized.
