Tires can, even with a sufficient profile, be past their expiry date. You can find more about this on this site.

Of course, we can handle all those guidelines somewhat freely. But there are limits.

The tire in the photo is from a Dutch - yes, here too - barn find and belongs to a Chevrolet from 1926. The general condition of that find was relatively good.

But the tires had become so old that when they rolled, just one 'broke'

With our classics, let's keep an eye on that date of durability of the tires. Because sixty years past time? That won't happen to us!
