We may look at Piet Ane's car collection with relish and realize that passion makes a lot possible. Porsche has never been an ordinary car brand; its unique qualities evoke a lot of sympathy among enthusiasts. In addition to the Porsche 911 Carrera, which has now been given a new 3,6 liter power source, there are two other stylistic masterpieces in his collection:
- Porsche 911 Convertible (1987): Equipped with a 3,2-liter engine and owned since 1996. This convertible embodies the elegant sportiness that makes Porsche so popular.
- Porsche 964 Anniversary Edition (1993): A four-wheel drive model that was released exclusively in honor of the 30th anniversary of the production of the Porsche 911. This special numbered edition consists of 911 pieces, and the Limited Edition by Piet Ane has number 848. Not only a visually beautiful car, but also one with muscles. The anniversary version has stood still for years, but after a thorough technical maintenance, this powerful German is ready to drive again and ready to offer driving pleasure.
Piet Ane's collection proves that there are people with passion in their genes, who like to share their love for cars.
New Mini (2003): a youngtimer in excellent condition
The status of a youngtimer is between 15 and 25 years old, and the New Mini now belongs in this category. Driving youngtimers is becoming increasingly popular; many people see it as a valuable investment, because these cars were once too expensive to buy new. For Piet Ane the story is different: this car, with only 29.000 km on the counter, was his mother's first new car and is now kept in excellent condition.

Outdoor recreation and classical technology
Piet Ane: “What is more beautiful than the old technology? Nowadays there are a lot of electronics and sensors in cars, but I enjoy the older stuff much more. My Moto Guzzi California 850 (T3) from 1982 is no longer standard; I replaced the 850 cc with 950 cc cylinders and fitted it with extra spark plug holes (twinspark), and made the engine suitable for unleaded petrol.”

Bon vivant and technology enthusiast
Piet Ane: “My collection has museum value; the different models show a piece of technical development that really appeals to me. The performance of these cars, combined with the impressive sound of the engine, still gives me goose bumps. I let the Porsches do what they were made for: driving! Via the Porsche forum I make appointments for rides, contacts and sometimes also tinkering together and improving the 'performance'. Sometimes tinkering fun is even more fun than driving. Technology has always fascinated me; as a former farmer I liked tinkering with tractors and agricultural machinery. Small interventions on the Porsches, such as shock absorbers, struts and brakes, I do myself. For larger jobs I go to Rebel Engineering, where Erwin is an excellent professional.”
Passionate enthusiast
Piet Ane enthusiastically tells about his passion for Porsche. The best part is that these sporty thoroughbreds regularly appear on the road and are used for what they were designed for.
the Porsche 911 Carrera and Porsche 964
De Porsche 911 is an iconic sports model that was introduced in 1964 and has seen numerous variations since then. The Porsche 911 Carrera (1989) was the last in the original generation of the 911 series, also known as the “G models”, produced between 1973 and 1989. The Carrera was powered by a 3,2-liter flat-six engine, and was known for its reliable performance and balanced handling. The model was considered the bridge between the classic 911 models and the more modern versions that followed.
De Porsche 964 was introduced in 1989 as the successor to the original 911. This version featured several technical improvements, including four-wheel drive in the Carrera 4 version and a redesigned chassis with improved suspension for improved handling. The 964 Anniversary Edition from 1993 was released to celebrate 30 years of production of the 911 and was limited to 911 units, making the car a coveted limited edition. The 3,6-liter engine provided powerful performance and made the 964 a highly sought-after classic for collectors and Porsche enthusiasts.
De Porsche 911 Convertible (1987) was part of the same series as the Carrera and offered an open-air driving experience combined with the sporty qualities of the 911. This convertible version remained faithful to the iconic design of the Porsche line, but gave drivers the opportunity to enjoy open-air driving without compromising on performance.
