Thanks to a special milling machine, a life-size hard foam model was eventually created. With the help of original wooden molds, aluminum sheet metal and pure craftsmanship, the replica gradually took the form of the past.

Paintwork

The paintwork of the 356 'No.1' replica also received a lot of attention. The original version has been varnished several times. That is why Porsche experts went under the dashboard in search of the original paint color. The dials of the instruments are true to nature and even the mats are knotted in a traditional and authentic way.

Core values ​​from then and today

The perfectly looking replica - which is on the world tour in the context of the 70 anniversary of Porsche - has no engine. But just like the original, it has the front axle, steering and steering wheel of a beetle. In total it took eight months to create the replica.
