Cabriolet drivers - and motorcyclists - can get overheated in real summer weather.
There are a few 'heat windows' in our body that we can keep an eye on: the forehead and the neck.
The forehead usually gets protection from a cap or motorcycle helmet.
But the neck? For the neck there are 'neck coolers'. Usually these are double woven or stitched scarves / ties with a water-absorbing gel or crystal filling.
Before use, immerse such a thing in cold water until the absorbent filling is 'full', then tie or wrap the scarf around your neck where the evaporative cooling of the water will save you from 'heat stroke' for a few hours.
The accessory can usually also be worn as a forehead band or wrapped around the wrist.
But the most important thing is watch out for overheating and dehydration!
Neck coolers can be purchased from various providers for amounts between the 15-45 euro
