Classic car enthusiasts can indulge themselves during Prewar days. On 9, 10 and 11 December, the organizers will transform Kortrijk Xpo into a pre-war car and motorcycle fair. This unique old-timer fair aims to bring hobbyists and experts in the pre-war automotive industry under one roof.

“During Prewar Days you will discover the showpieces from the pre-war period, which are still writing history today,” says organizer Michael Bossaert. Due to the success of the first edition in 2019, Prewar Days is twice as big this year. “Because we are unique in Europe with our pre-war classic car range, we meet the great demand from both exhibitors and visitors from home and abroad.”

Rare offer

Prewar Days has a rare and period-oriented offer. In Kortrijk, visitors will find pre-war cars and motorcycles up to 130 years old. These are exhibited by exhibitors from all over Europe. In addition, space has been made for the largest luxury brands from the period before 1940. Think of premium brands such as Rolls-Royce, Mercedes and Minerva. Furthermore, enthusiasts of the first models of, for example, Ford, Citroën, Peugeot and Chevrolet indulge themselves in Kortrijk. Classic car enthusiasts who are more interested in motorsport will also find race cars from Aston-Martin, Bugatti and Bentley, among others.

Motorcycles and tricycles

The organization of Prewar Days not only provides a rare supply of pre-war automobiles. Prewar motorcycles and tricycles are also discussed. The wide range varies from special examples of illustrious brands such as Harley-Davidson, Indian and Bollé. Finally, the organization presents a special exhibition of the Mahy collection. Of course there are various industry-related stands. In that context, we ask for special attention for model car builder AMF from Madrid. They are also present in Kortrijk and can tell and show visitors how they are able to build truly beautiful scale models of (among other things) pre-war automobiles.

Information and tickets

Those who want to visit Prewar Days can already order tickets now. A visit to Prewar Days costs 15 euros. Those who order their ticket online will receive a discount of 22 euros on the admission price with a discount code (PWD2K). In addition, visitors are entitled to a free Tripel Sint-Bernardus and a visit to Oldtimer Museum Bossaert at a reduced rate. More information and the possibility to order tickets can be found on the website www.prewardays.be.

  1. we are world champions in paying taxes, the government will destroy the enthusiast by collecting taxes, fuck off with that trade, they are gangsters and scammers!!!!!!

  2. From 1 January (in Belgium) these pre-war old-timers will also be charged with extra road tax that is approximately 3x higher than now. They also (recently) have to go to the car inspection every 5 years.
The Flemish government has calculated that a lot of environmental gains can be made here in the fight against global warming.
A few more years of this kind of political demolition policy, then nothing will remain of our heritage.

    • yes, the government's environmental freak, driving around in greasy, polluting, fossil fuel-guzzling cars and killing the rest! That's why I sold my 911T 2,0 in 2015, but also because Odtimer Ralleys always drove more young timers, who thought they were even more important than the rest!
