The first edition of the new classic exhibition CLASSICSNL will definitely take place. From 23 to 25 October, a promising event is being organized at the WTC Expo in Leeuwarden. The kick-off would initially be in September. However, the organization decided to postpone because it was not yet satisfied with the composition in the run-up to that moment. “We want to get off to a good start. We want to create the basis for an event that we can organize for years, "said stock market manager Pieter Fokkema at the time. The Frisian organization has still met its own ambitious requirements.
250 classic cars
The new exhibition at the WTC Expo Leeuwarden is kicking off with two exhibition halls with a total floor space of more than 12.000m2. There will be an offer of more than 250 classic cars. More than 80% of the offer is exhibited in Leeuwarden for commercial purposes. CLASSICSNL can therefore be seen in the first year as an important sales fair for classic cars.
Approve of brands and types
At the fair there are suppliers of classic cars from all over the Netherlands. There will also be a variety of different brands and types of cars on CLASSICSNL. It is not only the fans of classic cars that are in their element. The visitors with a warm interest in youngtimers have also been considered. Various brand clubs will also be the first edition of CLASSICSNL.
Many stands
The organization has also had an eye for Umfeld around the classic and young timer movement. The fair is completed with stands from restoration companies and dealers in parts and accessories. With regard to financial advice, insurance technical matters and valuations, visitors can also visit the WTC Expo on the exhibition floor. Also is Auto Motor Klassiek with a stand in Leeuwarden. Among other things, this is graced with two beautiful vintage cars.
Different squares with beautiful themes
Several theme squares have been set up at the fair. The main theme is devoted to the Citroën DS, which was presented to the world in Paris sixty years ago. Six DSs are on display. Copies from the first, second and third generation (the three noses) mark the DS evolution in Leeuwarden. In addition to the examples mentioned, a Break, a convertible and an ambulance will also be shown to the public. Another theme is Back to the Twenties, where various American cars from the 20 years of the last century are presented. There is also the Vive la France theme with French classics from the years 50, 60 and 70. Finally, there is a large theme square with rare barnfinds.
Well worth it in advance
The organization has pulled out all the stops to turn the first CLASSICSNL edition into a high-quality exhibition. Those responsible placed high demands on the composition and design of the Leeuwarder fair. It is clear in advance that a visit to CLASSICSNL is very worthwhile.
