If you delve into the history of our successful buggy builder Ruska from Amsterdam, you can see that the heyday was in the seventies. It all started with the first type of Ruska Buggy B.1. of which no less than 300 were built. Sales and production increased to 350 units per year with various models such as the Super Buggy in 1973 and later the Classic and Sprinter. When Jan Gerrit Sprietsma got the tip that an original body of the Type B.1 was for sale, his heartbeat started to rise. Mind you, despite his car-aged 54 age, he fell for the charming appearance and knew that the driving pleasure was unbeatable. A bonus for him because there was still a chassis of a buggy with a license plate in his shed that had already been inspected before the new rules went into effect. When he came face to face in Hoogkarspel with the body of the now unique version B.1. he was sold quickly. There is no way back, a Ruska Buggy B.1. comes to beautify the Dutch road again. DdJ
Although this is an old message, I would like to point out that this is NOT a Ruska B1 but a Sportscar made/delivered by Hotrod from Doesburg
