The Dutch Audi importer Pon's Automobielhandel and the Audi Club International Nederland are once again joining forces for the second episode of 'Audi Tradition'. On Sunday 7 June there is an extensive program from 11.00 to 16.00 hours on the grounds of Pon's Automobielhandel in Leusden in which the rich history of Audi and its predecessor brands are central. The current model range of the German manufacturer is also in the spotlight. For anyone who has any interest in cars, a visit to the event is worth it!
In the Audi showroom in Leusden, special cars from the rich history of Audi and Auto Union can be seen. Some make their debut in the Netherlands: the copies in question have never before been seen within our borders. In addition, interesting Audi-related films are shown in a special cinema section of the showroom. There are also demonstration rides with the latest Audi models.
Clubs present themselves
Outside there are pavilions in which the Dutch clubs - which are united in the Audi Club International - present themselves. This concerns the General Audi Club, the Audi Sport Club Netherlands, the DKW Club Netherlands and the NSU Club Netherlands. Elsewhere on the large site, special parking spaces have been set up for the cars and motorcycles of the registered members of the said clubs.
Concours d'élégance as one of the highlights of the program
The most beautiful cars participate in the competition d'élégance. This takes place from 13.30 to 14.30 hours. An expert jury will judge the cars of the participants. According to the organization, the competition promises to be one of the highlights of the program.
Attractive automobilia and technical workshops
There are plenty of special offers for collectors of miniature cars and other automobilia, while there are also sufficient catering facilities. There are special workshops from 12.00 to 16.00 hours for those who are technically interested. The organization has succeeded in putting together an attractive program around Audi and the history of the brand. It makes a visit worthwhile.
