Tripy exists 10 year!
Tripy has been developing specialized tools for the layout of the Road Book and the control of rally cars for 10 for years. The GPS Tripy II, the programs RoadTracer Pro (for the general public) and RiverNotes (for professionals) have become references in the sector of old engines and vehicles. The same applies to the service Tripy Competition in the rally world.
Ten years of development including the creation of the “Tripy Rally Services” department which, with its database of 1.000 GPS, is active on the largest rally raids in the world (Latin America, China or Russia) and the most prestigious sports rallies: Monte Carlo, Corsica, Belgium, Morocco, Senegal, Neige & Glace, Rallye des Princesses, Andorra 500, Liège-Sofia-Liège, 12 hours from Huy,… so many examples that confirm the qualities of the Belgian manufacturer.
Organizers know best that accuracy and reliability are the key features of the technology developed in Gosselies: real-time team follow-up - tracing -, speed control, time measurement by built-in GPS, digital display of the Road Book, registration of trajectories and positions of all competitors are all necessary assets for the smooth running of the journeys.
While the sales of the GPS Tripy II between 2014 and 2015 have risen by 3%, Tripy Rally Services is rising with 21% for its tenth anniversary with a dozen new races!
On the other hand: TomTom and Garmin are not shuddering in their baskets. But it is and remains a great success for the Belgians.
