Lovers of classic cars and special automobilia will find a special alternative to the most extravagant classic car markets during the upcoming Automobilia Spring Auction. On 7 and 8 May, the renowned auction house Automoblia Ladenburg will auction a large amount of special parts for classic cars, including parts for various Ferraris, Mercedes and Porsches.
But several complete copies also find their way to this year's auction. Various Volkswagens, a race transporter and even a fully working one-on-one replica of the Benz Patent-Motorwagen will go under the hammer. A 'must have' for every Mercedes-Benz enthusiast.
Film Le Mans with Steve McQueen
This year there are again a number of very special racing exhibitions. But also a large number of items from racing legend Jochen Mass and an outright treasure from the legacy of Klaus Steinmetz. This includes photos, cups, racing suits and many more items that testify to his eventful racing career with brands such as Abarth, Porsche and Opel.
The pinnacle of motorsport history will undoubtedly be the racing helmet, including gloves, from the legendary Le Mans movie. In the film, the helmet was worn by Swiss actor Fred Haltiner who played Johann Ritter. All personally signed by the 13 members of the original cast.
Replacement parts
Fans of Italian sports cars can look forward to various exhibits from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati and ISO. It's a colorful mix of parts, automobilia, rarities, sales notes, models, posters and the like that makes this year's Automobilia Spring Auction so interesting.
