We cannot of course be on our guard with the kind of rebirth of the Cold War. In the meantime, there is already a documented case of the rider of someone who drives a Russian classic and was therefore called a murderer and a fascist.
We have the Russians back as enemies. And the IS of course. But that is new and from that angle few classics can be scored.
And the media and propaganda bureaux work overtime.
And those poor Ukrainians? They just want to westernize because they want to have a better life. And they sell T Shirts with the sensible warning "The KGB is still watching you".
Through some acquaintances from that corner, we know that this is actually still true. They are also eager to export their classics. But where we have taxes, the ex CCCPs have a bribery-based civil service. And if you don't have enough money to bribe the officials, you will of course never get money by selling your classic.
Do we want to know who else keeps a constant eye on us or are we going for direct help to Kiev and are we also buying such a stylish T-shirt? In the meantime it has been proven that wearing such a thing is not only educational correct, but that you also get to talk to people you would otherwise never talk to. And so the KGB brings something good.
