The future is watching. Nothing classic. But a taste of what awaits us, car enthusiasts:
Swiss researchers are developing a system that uses expressions and muscle movements in the face of a motorist to determine whether he is not too distracted, tired or irritated to drive safely. By means of an infrared camera and recognition software, anger and disgust can already be tested.
The system may be used in the future to limit the speed of the vehicle or to issue a warning when one of the emotions or signs of fatigue is perceived, it is said.
