Purchasing classics there

Audi opposed parent company VW with the cry 'Vorsprung durch Technik'. A nice approach.

But you are ahead of the crowd with a head start. And that can have consequences in the margin when you - for example for your classic - you need specific parts. Parts for - for example - a Pierburg carburetor as it was on the very rare 1900 cc five-cylinder Audis. They cannot be found in practice. And finding just 'another Pierburg' is almost as difficult.

So from here we want owners of classics for which you can't buy new things on every corner, we recommend 'crazy' parts such as a carburetor or a specific exhaust manifold, a camshaft maybe… Just to buy if one pops up. The costs are not too bad. And as long as it does not concern entire carters, this preventive care does not consume much space.

We now mentioned some mechanical components.
But think of cars from 1990 or similar on board computers and other electrical or electronic distress.

Because that stuff is becoming scarcer every day.
And nothing more is added.
While the failure of such an electronic wretch can mean the final end of a beautiful classic.
