MG Midget Rubber Bumper

There is no arguing about taste, one enthusiast likes a so-called 'Chrome Bumper' old-timer MG Midget, the other a MG Midget 'Rubber Bumper'. The latter old-timer is regularly converted by enthusiasts to 'Chrome Bumper'.

There are conversion kits for sale. It is quite a job, because the front fenders, for example, are completely different, the car is too high and well, the mechanics are different too. You can of course carry out the conversion in the cheap way. There is nothing wrong with that, because we cannot look into your heart or your wallet ... We saw the copy shown here in a parking space in Great Britain. And that owner had done it all very, very 'low budget'. Chrome bumpers from a completely different car, the holes in the front fenders closed with a plate (with pop nails!) And then a few caravan lights screwed on as a direction indicator ...
