This Volkswagen Beetle 1600i is owned by Sander Marinus and Femme de Vries. Both have had warm feelings for cars with an air-cooled heart since childhood. They bought an old VW Beetle from their first savings. That was the basis for their company, where they buy, refurbish and resell Volkswagens.

They are not always refurbishers that they encounter in the market at home and abroad, but also cars such as this 1600 Volkswagen Beetle 1996i. They now know the thrill and sensation of stories about sheds and sheds where old Beetles are still hidden. And they still experience that sensation from time to time.
Challenge
Both men find it a challenge every day to restore an old car. Finding the necessary parts is sometimes a puzzle. Especially when it comes to special Volkswagens. Searching for parts is not automatic. And sometimes one has to be creative in finding solutions. The Volkswagen Beetle 1600i is actually a further development of the famous German Beetle.
The Volkswagen Beetle 1600i has a 46 hp engine with injection. The electronic engine management controls fuel injection and ignition. The interior is decorated with a velor upholstery on the seats and rear seats, which provides more comfort. The photos show that the Beetle has not had a hard life and is now freshly cleaned on the sales list. If you drive a Beetle as a hobby car today, the experience is high. Beauty and history are focused on driving pleasure, which is good for mental well-being.
