We are all familiar with the numerous versions of the buggies based on the VW chassis / engine. But this Volkswagen Buggy is very special. A version that has the sporty appearance of a Ferrari, but is still a normal Beetle (from 1962) with a polyester body.

In the search for special Volkswagens we came across these at an old auction of BCA. It was mentioned that the buggy was built in Belgium (APAL). Meanwhile - the license plate is active - a new owner will be driving around in this sports car with the familiar boxer sound. And if you hear that… then it is no problem that you get watery eyes and cold ears. After all, it is nostalgia with Beetle technology. Strictly aircooled style… and a personalized look.
Wait a second; this is not a 'Volkswagen Buggy', this is a 'Buggy' on a Volkswagen chassis with a VW engine. The VW factory has had no involvement at all with the Buggy manufacturers, even though the current VW propaganda wants to believe otherwise. Bumblebee advertising, that's it!
