Winter tips
It is finally cold in the Netherlands. My outside temperature meter indicated a value of minus 7 degrees Celsius. It is therefore freezing that it is cracking.
In those circumstances it is a good feeling to know that the car was fully prepared for the things to come in November. That is why you can go to sleep with confidence. The final defroster is next to the gloves and the ice scrapers are also ready. There are brushes with soft hair to remove the snow from the car and when all that is done the car can be started. We are almost ready to leave. Handbrake off and start driving. Oops that is disappointing. The accelerator pedal does move but there is no movement in the car. He even turns off. What is going on? Indeed, the applied parking brake is frozen. Very annoying. Some cars suffer more from it than others. That is why it is highly recommended not to put the car on the parking brake during the winter during the night. Put it in gear to prevent the car itself from going out. If the street is slightly inclined, turn the front wheels towards the curb side. So that the car is stopped at least by the curb.
