Matra Bertone Buggy
A unique Matra

The car magazine "L'Auto-Journal" and Shell had planned to have a Buggy designed and built as a serial product. At design studio Bertone a design and prototype was called in, this became the Buggy Shake. The car was shown to the public in 1971 at the Paris Motor Show and parked at Matra after the fair.

Matra has made a mold of the car and developed a chassis. Cars were made at Matra 2 and No: 0001 was used for a crash test, as a result of which a type approval was issued for car No: 0002.

So that is this Buggy, and then you can talk about rare.

Oh yes: the other is now at Kout Automobiles and is being restored there.
