A eehhh ... Renault 30
Stand damage. The Germans call it 'Standschaden'. I don't know what the French call it, but this Renault 30 has it, we don't have to doubt that. We can only daydream about the life of this car ...

This great Frenchman once graced the streets of Lille or Avignon. Average as he was, he did not stand out among his peers. You could call the car a VMBO student with HAVO aspirations. Yves drove it to work and at the weekend Marie-Louise did the shopping with it. That went well for a long time, until the car started to show defects. The R30 had to go and ended up being scrapped. We write 1992. Now, eighteen years later, the R30 is still there. All this time the car has not moved an inch. At least, not in its entirety. The bumper has now taken on a life of its own and it is not clear what color the Frenchman had. Refurbishing is no longer worthwhile, so the R30 spends its years in a French death field like a corpse in a swamp. Fortunately, the car did not fall prey to banger races. That would be a shame of such a beautiful young timer.
