During a visit to a classic specialist we met a nice young man. On his smartphone he showed photos of a Simca Chambord, the Simca V8 from the early 1960s.
Upon inquiry, it turned out he was going to spoon a Ford V6 or Volvoblock in order to ride Banger Races. Places where that sport is practiced are apparently Lopik and a number of northern and eastern locations.
Ah? You do not know what 'Banger Races' are? These are autocross races where people try to damage each other's cars as much as possible.
The best thing is when only 1 survivors cross the line.
And if that's someone in a Simca Chambord with a Ford or Volvo block?
