Partly due to the COVID-19 years, the Beaulieu Spring Jumble was missing from the spring calendar of classic car events. But see: the organizers have managed to put the British event back on the agenda. It will be on May 13 and 14. Then the New Forest site in Hampshire in the south of England will once again be dominated by this colorful encounter.
Nice: the British call the event the one-stop-shop for all classic car needs. That one elusive part for a restoration project, or that specific atmosphere that the event carries: the Beaulieu Spring Jumble offers it. And if you want to visit the event, it is important to note 13 and 14 May in the agenda.
75 years Morris Minor
This year there is special attention for the Morris Minor, because Moggy celebrates his 75th birthday this year. That is why the organization has made room for two hundred Morris Minors, which, together with many other classic cars, will show their historic charms on the show grounds. Morris Minor owners can join the Dorset Branch of the Morris Minor Owners Club. The result is a colorful exhibition in honor of one of Britain's most popular classic family cars. But Moggy is not the only classic to be put in the spotlight. What about the presence of other car clubs? We'll mention the Morgan Sports Car Club and the Rolls-Royce Enthusiasts' Club, both of which take stunning selections of their members' vehicles to the Beaulieu Spring Jumble.
Colorful automobilia offer
Spring Autojumble offers – to put it with a British understatement – enough at least for every enthusiast, owner and visitor. On the New Forest site you are exposed to the contents of, for example, hundreds of garages and sheds. And that goes on sale during the event. Experience shows that the most surprising curiosities and parts can just turn up. Not to mention all other classic car related matters.
Land Rover Rummage
Of course there is also the opportunity to buy the dream car. Classic, modern or something in between: Automart is the place to find all kinds of cars and motorcycles for sale. Land Rover Rummage on Sunday 14 May is always an opportunity not to be missed for fans of the iconic 4X4, with a corner of the Spring Autojumble fields devoted solely to Land Rover spare parts, accessories and even complete project vehicles for sale. Trunk Traders, another Sunday highlight, is ideal for anyone looking to sell their surplus parts. Finally: when you visit the Spring Autojumble, you can also combine your trip with a visit to the National Motor Museum, which houses a collection of almost three hundred classics around the corner from the colorful event.
