Of course, autumn is not such a top season. But if you have a few days off, you can still make something of it. Go on an uninhibited tour of - for example - the north of France. At least above the Loire.
Now that the leaves are off the trees, the landscape is much more transparent. And then it appears that there are still orphaned and abandoned classics everywhere. Often no longer save. But it fits nicely with the melancholy of autumn.
