For 12 Million Pond Ferrari adept bought this 250GTO with Series 2 bodywork
In mid-May reports circulated that the American auction house RM had privately sold a Ferrari 250GTO from 1963. It would be chassis number 4675GT, one of the thirty-six original cars built by Ferrari and fitted with the Series 2 bodywork at the factory.

Some research showed that it was about the cart - from a Japanese owner - with modest motorsport history. The car left the factory in April in the color Rosso Cino 1963 and was used by men such as Guido Fossati, Jean Guichet, Oddone Sigala, Vincenzo Nember and Luigo Taramazzo. In the lesser races it turned out to be a loyal race. Everyone is naturally very curious as to what the car had yielded and who would have become the new owner. 'Shopping' again so that we can now confirm that the new owner is Chris Evans. He paid 12 Million Pounds Sterling for the machine. Evans is a Ferrari enthusiast and collector. About two years ago, he purchased an 250GT California Spyder for the record amount of 5,6 Million Pounds Sterling. To finance the new toy, Evans announced that he had to sell his 250 GT SWB and two other Ferraris.
