The classic car season is in full swing. For the classic enthusiasts, there are again pleasant events on the menu during the Ascension weekend. We highlight some festivals and tours. The 25nd edition of the Oldtimerfestival in Hoornsterzwaag will take place on 22 May. On Saturday 27 May, enthusiasts can have fun again along the side of the road in a rural setting. The pre-war classics ride the Elfstedentocht. And on May 28, the fourth edition of the Japan Classic Day will take place at Classic Park Boxtel.
But first a reflection of one of the largest events in the Northern Netherlands. Because Hoornsterzwaag has become a household name, and traditionally it was held on Ascension Day. A spectacle up to and including more visitors every year. They come to watch various races and can visit a large parts market. There is also live music, an annual fair, a large funfair and an air show.

Japan Classic Day
On 28 May the Classic Park Boxtel will host the fourth Japan Classic Day place. The event is aimed at the enthusiast and / or owner of a classic or exclusive Japanese car. At the location of Classic Park, visitors can enjoy many Japanese cars in all versions. Furthermore, during this day there will be special attention for the Toyota MR2. The Toyota MR2 Club Nederland will present a unique collection for this in the conference room. Due to the presence of clubs, lifestyle and music, Classic Park will be in a Japanese atmosphere on May 28.
