Renault Alpines are built under license in several countries. But in Mexico, the idea has been used more freely. These 'Alpines' are built on the platform and the engine of a… VW (do Brasil, that again).
The appearance and finish are convincing, the engine noise must at least be different from the original.
And in Mexico, ready-made, used copies are offered for amounts such as the 150000-20000 Pesos. So under ten billion euros.
