The HAV
The Historical Automobile Association of the Netherlands was founded on 31 August 1964 in Rijswijk (ZH) and is registered with the Chamber of Commerce in The Hague under number V 40408621.
The main purpose of our association is to promote, preserve, collect and restore cars, trucks, motor vehicles and accessories that are important from the point of view of historical rarity. The HAV has no commercial purpose whatsoever and in particular wants to contribute to the pleasure that all enthusiasts in the Netherlands have in driving, restoring and owning an old-timer.
At present, De HAV has more than 1100 members and together they are the owners of: 3800 passenger cars, 350 trucks and buses, 147 engines / scooters, 28 mopeds / auxiliary engines, 5 tractors and 12 miscellaneous (fire sprayer / trailer, etc.)
The HAV is a member of the KNAC Friends Club.
