If this beautiful Opel Kadett A Coupé L were to show up at some event, the prices would fly around him. The condition, the shiny paint and chrome are astonishing.

The owner Frits is a passionate classic enthusiast and collector. As an entrepreneur he has the courage to do what others do not do. More than 40 years ago, flower transports went to Italy and he let the driver take small Fiat 500 as return freight. In his spare time, the cars were made moving and cosmetically addressed. Back then, of course, they were just old cars that were bought and sold for low prices. The love for the car has remained all along. The top cars in his warehouse are proof.
Opel Kadett A Coupe L
You will not find a better copy! This Opel Kadett A Coupé L is truly a jewel and is available in two colours: Lapis blue with a white roof. The engine is a four-cylinder with a capacity of 993 cc and 48 hp. Together with the four gears, you can still ride royally in today's traffic.
Connoisseur and enthusiast
We let Frits describe his own dream car: “At the flower auction I visit twice a week, the conversation in the canteen was about classic cars. A staff member told the story of the first owner of an Opel Kadett A Coupé that was purchased in 1963. The car would now have ended up as an inheritance with the son who had nothing to do with cars (and certainly not with classic cars). He wanted to put it up for sale. I immediately took action and looked closely at the car. The nameplate indicated: Adam Opel AG – Russelsheim, work Bochum, Made in Western Germany. There was a plate under the hood with the information GMJ vd Velden in Boekel, year 1963, restored from 1997-2000. As an extra bonus, a complete photo report of the restoration was included. I was positively surprised and reason enough to purchase the particularly beautiful Kadett Coupé.”

piece of art
Frits: “For me the car is a work of art, it is a pleasure, just looking at it is satisfying. Just a beautiful, now exclusive Opel in top condition that gives you plenty of pleasure with every ride. Production was from 1963 to 1965, so very short and therefore more exclusive. (In the 60s you saw the coupé very little.) Recognizable by the beautiful grille, the two colors, tires with white sides. An Opel (Philips) radio makes it complete to get the feeling of the 60s.”
Showing off in the barn
There are two more Frits classics that look happy and loved. A Volkswagen Panorama bus in beautiful condition and a traditional Dutch product with the famous variomatic: A DAF 33. We were able to record his story in utter amazement. We've known for a long time, nothing beats classic cars!

I'm interested
There aren't that many left but I managed to get 4 together 🙂
See attached photo, I am a type specialist Kadett A within the Historic Opel Club Nederland. Do you have or do you remember A Kadetjes or do you have (old) photos/information/questions => I am always recommended.
The kindergarten teacher used to have one just like that. Yes, as a small toddler I already marveled at that car. Also available in two colours. I always waited for her to start it up and drive it home. A special car and that was apparently already clear to me then because that image of that car has never left my retina
A special combination of Frivolous and Economical, it makes curious about the person who bought the car new.
