You probably know the legendary Renault 4 but do you know this direct predecessor, the Renault Juvaquatre? Despite its respectable age of probably 70 years, the rust has not yet struck accurately. Admittedly: restoration will cost a lot of time, money and energy, but he can then escape an early end.
In addition, the battle is not yet over, history is brief. The Renault is said to have been housed in an old shed over a period of 20 years and reappeared after the owner's death.

Fortunately, all data such as the chassis numbers are intact, but the accompanying papers have disappeared. It has now become a bit 'Investigation requested' and thus the search for the history and the necessary advice from Renault classic car enthusiasts for the restoration of the Renault Juvaquatre.
This compact Fransoos family remained in production for a long time (1937- 1960), after which the Renault 4 took over. For Jan-Gerrit, the Renault Juvaquatre is a car full of character, enjoying its 'snout', the square grill, and the closely spaced headlights. And with its 24 horsepower engine, it doesn't have to be in a hurry. The cuddibility factor is high and that alone influences the joy index of the new owner.

The Renault 4cv and not the r4 was the successor of the Renault Juvaquatre. Otherwise we would make a very big leap in time!
