Winter time, DIY time. And what is a more challenging job than removing old coatings?
Biting paint is a tough job. And some paint strippers bite just as hard in fingertips as in lacquer.
They also sometimes give off a pungent smell that doesn't make lung cells or whatever those things are called happy, and eyes start to water ...
HG paint power picker is an extra strong and super fast acting paint stripper that is suitable for removing the most stubborn 2 component, solvent and water-based paints and varnishes based on epoxy, polyurethane, alkyd and acrylate.
This product is also suitable for removing filler and old, difficult to remove wax layers. Moreover, HG paint power picker does not contain the heavily environmentally harmful - and harmful to health - raw materials methylene chloride and methanol, but works, despite that, much better and faster than products that do contain these raw materials.
The product is biodegradable, has a much less strong odor and can be applied without problems on almost all surfaces. Apply a full coat of HG paint power picker evenly to the paint layer to be removed with a brush. After about 15 minutes, the softened layer of paint can easily be removed from the surface with a triangle scraper or putty knife. After removing the paint layer, carefully wash the surface with hot water or spray with a high-pressure cleaner and then allow it to dry thoroughly.
When using, wear gloves, respiratory protection and ensure good ventilation
The metal surface thus cleaned is 'open' and very susceptible to fly rust. After treatment, preservation must therefore take place quickly.
