Left and right you sometimes hear something. This way you can make your hobby within the family more acceptable by transporting a piston ring clamp from the garage to the kitchen. Your partner will never again need help to get a lid from a jar.
Even more improvisation: with a piece of thread, a block of hardwood with a hole and a few body rings, a rocking pin (Praxis, Gamma) can very well be used as a trigger for the inner ring of bearings.
And then with a strap you can make it easier to inflate empty - really empty - tubeless tires:
The leakage gap between rubber and rim will be too much for a 12V compressor. Try to bring a regular compressor and an extension cord. Get a jar of tire grease from your local tire supplier or get a few large jars of petroleum jelly from the Kruidvat. Lift the tires off the ground. Coat the inside of the rim bed and the outside of the tires thickly. Wrap and tighten a strap around the center circumference of the strap. The tire flanks are now pressed against the rim bed. Fill the compressor's pressure vessel to the maximum. And see how happy you are.
We do not have the tip to simply fill the tire with gas through the gap between rim and rubber, to spray WD40 or brake cleaner and to hold a lighter with it. Just search for 'aerosol tire inflation' on YouTube.
