Hunebed tour

On May 26, 2024, the board of the “Hunestromen Tour” foundation is organizing the twelfth edition of the Hunebeds Tour, the classic car tour of the north for cars and motorcycles older than 25 years.

This year the tour is approximately 100 km and runs from Schipborg along various dolmens in North Drenthe to end in Leek!

The registration fee is € 16,50 per person and you will receive:

Coffee and cookies/cake upon arrival.
A professional rally shield for the car.
Some refreshments for the road.
A drink and a snack at the final location.
Everything you need to drive the route including route book*

New this year is the option to have dinner at the final location around 17.00 p.m.: the Nienoord borg in Leek. Costs for this hot/cold buffet are €25,00 per person.

The buffet consists of; home-made potato salad, mesclun salad, selection of hams and sausages, tuna salad, spicy chicken thighs in oriental peanut sauce, pork tenderloin medallions in mushroom cream sauce, vegetable quiche, baked potatoes, seasonal vegetables and country bread and butter. Including 1 drink.

It is only possible to reserve dinner when booking the tour; it is unfortunately not possible to reserve a dinner afterwards.

PROGRAM:

Meet between 9.00:9.30 and 2:XNUMX am at Restaurant De Drentsche Aa located at Ruiterweg XNUMX in Schipborg. Follow the instructions of the parking attendants carefully due to limited parking space.

Coffee/tea and cookies/cake are available inside.

You are expected to arrive at 10.00:XNUMX am for a short welcome and a briefing.

Departure is at 10.30:XNUMX am.

The end of the route is around 15.00 p.m. at the Nienoord borg in Leek with a drink and a snack. Here it is also possible to view the National Carriage Museum (free with Museum Annual Card) and the surroundings of the deposit.

At 17.00 p.m. you can participate in a hot/cold buffet (at your own expense).

The day ends between 19.00:20.00 PM and XNUMX:XNUMX PM.
