Purchasing classics there
There are at least two Gilbern GTs in the Netherlands. Where did they go?
In the Netherlands at least two Gilbern GTmake up the classic fleet. One was beautiful and moving at the time and provided with a Dutch registration number, the other was a restoration object.

Both from the island and both with the steering wheel on the right. Are those cars still there and where have they gone? Carol Gent is a Brit who maintains an official register and would like to get in touch with the current owners. If there were more of these Gilbern's are in the Netherlands or Belgium, he would like to know. You can only contact him by e-mail: gentathome@ky.com. Perhaps unnecessarily - you have to be on your guard today - the data is only intended for this register and will remain under the cap there. We are curious…

  1. The Gilbern GT1800 is registered with the Gilbern club and is waiting for me in the schowroom for restoration. I do not yet know whether the Gilbern will be restored to its original condition or as a rally car with roll cage etc. The car has been partially dismantled but is almost complete. The paint shows all cracks and blisters due to osmosis of the spray filler and is removed in the short term to the gelcoat.
