In the Netherlands at least two Gilbern GTmake up the classic fleet. One was beautiful and moving at the time and provided with a Dutch registration number, the other was a restoration object.

The Gilbern GT1800 is registered with the Gilbern club and is waiting for me in the schowroom for restoration. I do not yet know whether the Gilbern will be restored to its original condition or as a rally car with roll cage etc. The car has been partially dismantled but is almost complete. The paint shows all cracks and blisters due to osmosis of the spray filler and is removed in the short term to the gelcoat.
