Despite the fact that Saab has not existed for more than a decade, the spirit of this iconic Swedish car brand remains very much alive. This will become clear again on Saturday, September 9, 2023 when the Saab Club Nederland organizes its annual event, NatSaab, in Lochem. Saab enthusiasts from all over the country will come together to display their vehicles, exchange ideas and share their love for the brand.
250 Saabs of all shapes and sizes
NatSaab promises an impressive collection of about 250 Saabs, ranging from rare classics to more modern models. This exhibition is not only a great opportunity to see the evolution of Saab design over the years, but also to experience the passion and dedication of the owners.
Saab may have gone bankrupt in 2011, but that hasn't dimmed the love for the brand. There are still about 35.000 Saabs on Dutch roads, a third of them are convertibles. Saab Club Nederland continues to keep the flame burning with regular meetings, rallies, tours and other events such as NatSaab.
A day full of activities
NatSaab is not just a car exhibition. Visitors can also enjoy an extensive parts market, presentations on topics such as tuning Saabs and “recycling” a Saab with a new engine, and a one-of-a-kind Saab brought over from Sweden especially for the event. There is also a raffle in which unique Saab items are raffled off, with the proceeds for the Odensehuis Amsterdam, an institution for people with dementia.
