Purchasing classics there

With Alfariders you always have great conversations; there is always passion! It Alfa-heart beats just a little faster, the blood is just a little redder, and there is always a passionate owner. What is the argument for one Alfa to drive? Simply an enthusiast's car with a high technical, stylistic and sporty content. That certainly applies to this one Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2000 GTV Coupé: it's a jewel! Bram can distinguish himself with this color and design.

What is Wisdom?

A psychologist has sought an explanation for why people can become so passionate about owning a classic car. The purpose of psychology is to understand the behavior of the enthusiast, but according to Bram we all have a degree of insight that we gain thanks to our common sense.

Completely voluntary

Bram: “For me it is my own wisdom. It shows wisdom if you voluntarily allow yourself to be infected with it Alfavirus and nurtures it. I come from the Sud era, I think from the 70s. My father drove a beautiful one Alfasud with the license plate 73-JU-10 and was working at Rinsma Berlikum as a mechanic and driver in transport. The AlfaConnoisseurs know that Frans de Groot was later the great driving force behind the growing trend Alfafamily from Berlikum. It almost goes without saying that I also infected my children; my daughter now drives a (red) Alfa 33 and my son in one Alfa 147 GTA. (After the Alfa 159 SW Q4 another V6 in the family, but then a Busso.) It will not surprise you that there is still a car in the driveway in the summer, namely a Alfa Romeo Spider 916. All cars with character.

Heartbreakingly beautiful

Bram: “Before my wedding in 1992, I had a brand new one for a while Alfa Rented Romeo SZ (E530), the incomparable car with the striking front with 6 square headlights. We can still relive it, because we still have the photos.”

The history of being Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2000 GTV Coupé

Garage Albatros-Amsterdam

Bram: “Through this one Alfadealer went the Alfa Romeo Alfetta 2000 GTV Coupé hit the road in 1977. As far as we know, I am the second owner of this car. It had been for sale for a while, but my original goal was actually a GTV 6. I finally took the plunge and took a look. That look became a 'goosebump moment', and after a test drive the decision was made to purchase. Weather permitting, I ride about 1000 km every year, and it remains an unforgettable experience every time.”

The stories that come with it, how they are found, what people do with the hobby, the history and the enthusiasm and emotions of the owner, we would like to feel and hear that. Bram is a good example of the passion for Italian flair.

  1. How is it possible that you come across such a car in this condition, while it has not yet been restored. It must never have been outside in the winter, otherwise it wouldn't exist, you would say. Good luck with the car, great.

  2. I have owned it for five years, what a nice car to drive. Too bad about the rust problems, which I also had. Top of tank rusted through!. However, it remains my great love, especially this year. Stainless steel bumpers, narrow rear lights and that dashboard!

  3. Bought a new Alfetta GT 1975 in 1.8. Back then there were less than 2 liters. Great nice car to drive on the long stretches. Shifting with rear gearbox less. Problem-free car, except for the bodywork. Had dinitrol treatment and was always indoors at night, but unfortunately after 2 years very serious rust formed over the entire sheet metal. Nevertheless, I still drive since 1972 alfa romeo.

    • What a great timeless beauty, especially in this color combination... I am now in my 36th year Alfa…… 🙂 a 156 for daily use and in the summer also a 916 Spider. I also had 1 x Alfetta GTV 2000 in 1983 and later 2x GTV6.....I would like to have another Alfetta GT(V) to drive rallies!
