A sound like whether there was a wheel bearing or a CV joint. That requires attention. Back home at a leisurely pace to lift the suspect's paw. Such a problem is not a broken wheel bearing and there are no fewer than two car parts suppliers in a radius of just as many kilometers.
But the damage was not too bad. When removing the hub cap, a wheel bolt fell to the ground.
Upon inspection, two of the three remaining bolts were also not completely tightened. The front wheels had just been removed from the Ruhr area just before a ride to have fresh rubbers put around.
The possible scenario? The mechanics might have been disturbed when putting wheels on it. A phone call. Coffee time. Something like that .. The bolts might only have been crushed with the compressed air key and not checked. Can happen.
The bolts on the other side were tight.
But if the rear tracks are also refreshed later, I will check the wheel bolts after the first ride.
Maybe we should all do that.
