Purchasing classics there
Christo, Gasometer, Kohlenpott
Just like Dutch politics, big and full of air. But then impressive

Oberhausen is only 80 km from Breda, but is already full abroad. There, in the former industrial area the "Kohlenpott" is a lot of industrial heritage.

One of those areas is the Gasometer, once the largest industrial gas storage tank in the world.

The thing has been out of use as gas storage for years, but the monument is certainly worth a visit.

This year the huge construction of artist Christo - the Great Packer - in the tank is definitely worth a visit. The Big Air Package can be viewed from inside and outside.

And from the roof of the Gasometer, the whole world looks like a model train table full of Faller building sets.

Nice!
