Electric cars
Lately there has been a lot to do about the electric cars. They have even been taken into use by, for example, the ANWB. It must be the solution for the dirty air that is found in more and more cities.
You can hardly breathe in more healthy air in a number of places. The same problem afflicted England years ago. That was in the era that that country was still a large mobile automobile museum. Great to see. But I can still remember that such a filthy smoke was emitted by that moving museum that you started coughing spontaneously, although you didn't smoke. We all know how it went. At the MOT, similar to our MOT, an emissions test was set. If the car emitted too many harmful substances, that meant rejection. When that system was introduced in the Netherlands, there were also a lot of opponents. Now that everyone is used to it, we can no longer remember that the cars used to smoke like that. The cars were also equipped with catalysts that ensure that fewer harmful substances are emitted. But it appears to be not enough in a number of places. That is why there are already a lot of hybrid cars for sale. And recently also the electric car. But that idea is not new at all. Until 1920 there were electric cars in a lot of cities in America. The copy of this stamp is convincing proof of this.
