Lovers of historical motorsport would do well to travel to Gramsbergen next Saturday. Eveno Racing Gramsbergen is organizing the Gramsberger Classic TT again on Saturday 17 June. The organization takes place in collaboration with the motor club Gramsbergen and the Classic Racing Team.
In fact, the race "starts" the night before the violence starts. On Friday evening 16 June the technical inspection of the motorbikes will be held in Gramsbergen, near café Bolte. Just like at the time in Assen, the participating motorcycles drive in a unique way under police supervision from the riders' quarter in Anerveen to the place of inspection and back again.
Appealing racing classics
At this inspection between 18.30 hours and 20.00 hours, a number of special racing engines can be seen and heard. Historical examples of Honda, BMW, Yamaha, Ducati, MV Agusta will definitely appeal to fans with a sense of motor sport history.
Afterwards there will be a cozy evening in the tent on the cyclists' quarter on Friday evening where everyone is welcome.
Saturday racing day, Boet van Dulmen of the party
The trainings start on Saturday morning at 10.00 hour and at 12: 30 hour is the official opening. Demo races are being held in the 50cc, 125cc, 250cc, 350cc, 500cc, sidecars and vintage car class. And there will be a so-called Classic parade with special motorbikes and famous names from the past. The former Dutch top player Boet van Dulmen - from 1975 to 1986 active in various GPs - will make his appearance.
Free access on the Anerveenseweg
As in previous years, thanks to the sponsors of Eveno Racing, admission is free. It makes coming to the circuit in Anerveen even more attractive. The circuit is located in the hamlet of Anerveen in the municipality of Hardenberg. The start, finish and riders' quarter are located on the Anerveenseweg.
Objective Eveno Racing
The classic race is held with an eye to the future. Eveno Racing's objective is to financially support young talented road racing drivers. The organization of the Gramsberger Classic TT is one of those events that makes a welcome contribution to it. In 2017, Eveno Racing supports the 17-year-old talent Walid Soppe from Coevorden. The 14-year-old Jeffrey Buis from Steenwijkerwold is also one of the talented drivers who compete in the store of Eveno Racing.
