The gray color of this 33 year old is the same as the state in which the Citroën CX Familiale is in the wrong place. No more love, no more excitement and now boring. Of course that is because of the layers of fabric and the colors that nature is gradually giving her.

We found this neglected 'voiture' in a village in Friesland. Nevertheless, 'La grande dame' still has the potential to reappear on the road. The decent streamlined CX in this family version can comfortably accommodate a large family. (And even serve as an office.) A citrophile would, as a hardened car enthusiast, be a delight again Citroën CX Familiale.
As automotive nomads, we - armed with our digital friend - search for beauty (?) And history in quiet fields, behind farms and abandoned sheds. Owners are often unknown and so is the future of the steel 'works of art'.
