The famous rubber ball suspension under Minis was once revolutionary in its operation and simplicity. But time does not stand still. Also not for classics. The - naturally - British company "Minitastic" supplies coil spring sets to replace the old rubber suspension.
The 'built-in' spring progression in the rubber balls is not reflected, because the springs just seem to be linearly wound.
But apparently a Mini - or a Moke - will drive significantly better. A funny side effect is that the ability to adjust the 'trumpets' makes the ride height somewhat adjustable.
The mounting on the front is a bit trickling, the job on the stern is much easier.
A set of springs plus assembly equipment costs 254, - without the shipping costs. But a few phone calls to our own Mini Specialists might solve that problem.
