It will be busy during the Modelauto & Automobilia Fair on Sunday, March 20. That day there is a wide range of model cars and vehicle documentation. In addition, there will be a demonstration of slot racing by SlipStream, one of the largest clubs in this field in the Netherlands. And outside the door is Cars & Coffee, the regional meeting point for fans of classic cars, trucks and two-wheelers.
As with the previous edition of the fair, there will be another Cars & Coffee in the parking lot in front of the Ford Museum. Here owners of vintage cars from 30 years old can meet.
Many classic cars have spent the winter months in the garage. But their owners often can't wait to get back on the road. They are very welcome during the Cars & Coffee at the Ford Museum. For each oldtimer there are two tickets available for the Modelcar & Automobilia Fair. This also gives them a discount on an entrance ticket to the Ford Museum.
Final racing
Fans of motorsport and model cars will all get their money's worth at the Modelauto & Automobilia Fair. Because slot racing club SlipStream will give an extensive demonstration during the fair. For this, the volunteers of the club take their demonstration track, which is 9 meters long. All visitors will have the opportunity to race a lap on this track themselves. For many this will be an introduction to something completely new, for some older people it will be youth sentiment.
Novice collectors
The fair is held twice a year and is a meeting point for collectors and model car enthusiasts. From around the world they come to the Ford Museum in Hillegom to offer model cars. We are talking about model cars in all scales and in every price range. The starting collector of model cars should certainly take a look at this fair. Car documentation enthusiasts, such as car brochures, press folders and technical manuals, have also found their way to the fair.
Discount
The Modelauto & Automobilia Fair and the Cars & Coffee will take place on Sunday March 20 from 11.00 am to 16.00 pm. Visitors to the Modelauto & Automobilia Fair pay € 3,00 entrance per person. Children up to 12 years old have free admission, if accompanied by an adult.
With the ticket of the fair you also get a reduced rate (€ 7,50) on a ticket for the Ford Museum. The Ford Museum restaurant is of course open during this day.
