Mr Magellan is a Belgian comic series that started in 1970 with André-Paul Duchâteau as a writer and Henri Ghion as a draftsman.
The story is semi futuristic and has a strong SF slant. Magellan itself is über cool, a kind of James Bond including all kinds of technical gadgets. his - with super human power - and pleasantly sculpted assistant Capella was the reason why quite a few young people wanted to step directly into Magellan's world.
But for us, of course, it only counts that the cars in the comics are lovingly drawn.
