A new photo album will be published on 18 February, entitled: "The History of Gremi, a century of car and motorcycle imports", written and compiled by Willem Pol.
The 144 page book tells in 14 chapters in word and image the complete history of the company. Each photo chapter is preceded by a few pages of information about that period. Not just about Gremi, but also about the import world in general. In separate chapters the RAI exhibitions, the field service and the publicity needed to sell are also discussed.
Almost 300 images, documents, letters, etc. provide a good picture of the industry. A lot of use was made of original factory photo material.
The mention per year and brand of the number of vehicles sold is certainly unique. The book clearly shows how a company is doing in good times and what is involved when things go less smoothly, such as in a crisis or war.
