Berlin may become the capital of Europe. If at least Europe stays. We have learned from a good source that the stacks of money for the Neuro and Zeuro have already been printed and are drying up. But there is much to be said for the idea. Just from a tourist point of view though. The city has everything to make a long weekend very beautiful. And 'everything' can then be seen in the relationship as in between 'Her and Him'.
For Haar there are shops and culture. For Him, the History of the city in WWII and after. Plus a couple of very nice Museums for people with a nostalgic technical vision. There is even a motorcycle museum with ex DDR engines. You can also drive around in a Trabant!
Add to that that for the price of a stylish
hotel stay in the heart of the city on booking.com cannot even sleep under an Amsterdam bridge and that the price level of the hospitality industry in the heart of the city center is roughly the same as Drempt in 1980. But the operating level, we have not yet experienced that in the Netherlands on a terrace or ordinary catering facilities. A few days in Berlin? To do!
