During the Easter weekend of 2016, the classic car fair Klassieker Drachten experienced its baptism of fire. It was so successful that the organization decided to organize the event in 2017 as well. Just like in 2016, Klassieker Drachten will take place in the Frisian Congress Center in Drachten. In the heart of the Fryske Wâlden, more than 100 entrepreneurs and clubs will fill 12.000 square meters of floor space with hundreds of classics, youngtimers and related items.
Just like last year, the organization, under the leadership of Sjouke Bosma, is building a fair with a low threshold, thorough and atmospheric character, where the spacious vehicles can glorify completely. From Friday 24 March you are welcome from 15.00 hours and you can experience it in Drachten. This first day is dedicated to the Evening Fair, which will last until 21.00 hours. It is also the start of an extremely accessible exhibition that also offers something for everyone.
Many offers, many providers
From 24 to 26 March, Klassieker Drachten will offer beautiful cars, motorbikes and mopeds from days gone by. Exhibited by clubs, offered by numerous professional companies. You also have a wide selection of parts, thumbnails, books and other automobilia. And restoration companies show their craft and their love for the profession. It is for sure: the enthusiast in you will also be fully catered for during the second edition of Klassieker Drachten.
New: show paddock for classic owners
Last year, various classic car owners visited the Classic Drachten with the classic. That is why Klassieker Drachten is expanding its activities with a real show paddock. Do you own a classic car, motorcycle or moped? Then you can exhibit your classic car, motorcycle or moped on this new show paddock. You also receive a € 2,50 discount on the already attractive entrance price and the possibility to organize your own trunk sale.
Again low entrance fee
This year the organization keeps the entrance price low: € 7,50. In addition, access for children under 12 years is even free. You get a lot for your money. You can experience it on Friday 24 March from 15.00 to 21.00 hours. On Saturday 25 March and Sunday 26 March, the Frisian Congress Center is open from 10.00 hours to 17.00 hours. Experience It.
