Jan Eggink is a genetic motorcyclist and an unconditional technician. And his last creation causes him insurmountable problems because of an old knee injury. Starting is getting worse and worse. And that is not due to his YAWAMA technique.
The homebuilt with JAWA Speedway power source converted to gasoline, Norton gearbox, a lot of (modified) parts from other brands and completely self-made stuff (belt drive) would be very successful at the coming Self-Build Day of Goos Bos.
If Jan were at least someone who would take his motorcycle there. A round of Posbank or something, there Jan had the pleasure of building. And to show a motorcycle like that… well…. But now his kickstart knee is playing up ...
Building a starter on his creation is an option, but that doesn't seem like a better solution to Jan. He is therefore looking for another engine. One with a start button. But it is not yet clear what that should be. No four-cylinder in any case.
Jan is open to suggestions. His YAWAMA is for adoption, is for sale or exchange. That's for sure. But what will he ride after that? Tips that put Jan on the track of his new motorcycle are welcome.

There are enough engines for little for sale also with start button because of the tax assessments for the oltimers
why not push? or as they sometimes do on a machine that rolls the rear tire and then slips into gear and starts?
Who knows what to do?
