The people who grumbled about the entrance fee of 30 euros at the gate of Het Loo actually had little right to speak. The tickets cost 20 euros in presale.
And that amount - or even 30 euros - settled over a full day gives a very friendly hourly rate when it comes to all the beautiful things that could be seen and heard. Because in a mildly modified set up, Het Loo was fantastic again this year. The top of Dutch classics stood in all its glory in the beautiful setting of the castle. The weather was good, everyone walked around satisfied or beaming.
